On September 17 and 18, the Wolmer’s Boys’ School held its annual club exposition. It was such a riveting time for both students and club leaders, and surely upheld its goal of ensuring extracurricular involvement throughout the student body. Whether it was a khaki-clad first former or a sixth former donning his maroon and gold regimental tie, every student had a place waiting for them at one of the booths. The incredible commitment from the clubs allowed for a captivating experience. From sports clubs flaunting their skilled athleticism through their medals and trophies, to service clubs displaying their dedicated community involvement, the club expo was a testament to the progress that the clubs have made over the years. Undoubtedly, the executive bodies, tasked with having an impact on anyone who visited their station, executed their roles well.
To keep that spirit alive, we ask that every student and family take care to uphold the standard of dress:
Shirt: Khaki shirt with two epaulettes (gold stripe to the front, maroon stripe to the back), neatly sewn and always tucked in.
Pants: Khaki pants with a break circumference of at least 36 centimetres. For our average student—ages 13–17, height 4’11”–5’9”, and weight 88–150 lbs—this is the expected fit. Tight pants are not part of our standard.
Belt: A simple black or dark brown leather belt, without ornate buckles.
Shoes: Black or dark brown leather shoes, kept clean and polished. Suede is not permitted.
Socks: Plain black or dark brown socks, complementing the shoes and belt.
When every Wolmerian wears the uniform properly, it strengthens the bond that connects us across generations and reminds the world of the values we stand for. We invite you, as parents and guardians, to partner with us in ensuring that your son consistently reflects this dignity.
