Dear Parents and Guardians,
Warm greetings to you and your families as we begin the 2026/2027 academic year.
We look forward to a year marked by an even deeper and more sustained partnership between home and school. Your encouragement, cooperation and active involvement remain essential to our shared mission of developing young men of character, competence and confidence.
As previously communicated, the School is undertaking an important construction project intended to expand and improve our facilities. While this development represents a significant investment in the future of Wolmer’s Boys’ School, we recognize that the associated dislocation may result in some temporary inconvenience and require adjustments to the customary rhythm of school life.
Careful arrangements have therefore been made to ensure continuity in the delivery of our academic programme and extra-curricular offerings, while minimizing, as far as possible, any discomfort caused by the construction activities. The administration will continue to monitor these arrangements and make appropriate adjustments in the best interests of our students.
We appreciate that our young men are accustomed to a different type of schedule and may require some time to settle into the new arrangements. We therefore ask that, together, we extend patience and understanding while supporting them through this period of adjustment. Consistent encouragement from parents, alongside the guidance of the administration and teachers, will help them to adapt positively and remain focused on their learning and development.
Thank you for your confidence in Wolmer’s Boys’ School and for your continued partnership. With our collective commitment, we are confident that this will be a productive, rewarding and successful academic year for every Wolmerian.
Yours sincerely,
Dwight K. Pennycooke
Principal
Wolmer’s Boys’ School
