On Friday, September 6, 2024, over 400 students, parents, and staff gathered at the Douglas Orane Auditorium for the highly anticipated Student-Athletes' Expo. Held under the theme, "Beyond the Field: Unlocking Academic and Athletic Potential", the event was a resounding success, powered by Grace Foods.
The expo featured engaging presentations on essential topics such as nutrition, mental health, rest and recovery, banking options, and scholarships. A highlight for many attendees was learning about how to prepare for scouts, a valuable insight for aspiring athletes.
Fun challenges and exciting giveaways kept the energy high throughout the day. One student remarked, “I had an amazing time! The challenges were really fun, and the giveaways from Grace Foods were awesome. I also learned a lot about taking care of myself both on and off the field.”
The event showcased the holistic development of Wolmer's student-athletes, setting a high bar for future expos.
